Youth work & research might also look like this

I'll probably discuss youth research a lot in the next year especially when I start seriously working on my MA dissertation. Right now, I'm working on understanding and connecting the conclusions of the Play Cafe consultations from Baia Mare.

Let me walk you through the process.

Step 1. (Yesterday) Despair while looking at the reports and not finding any obvious storyline.

Step 2. Start to write down keywords on scrap paper and end up with a timeline.

Step 3. Recognise two categories based on another Play event from 2021.

Step 4. Write down a summary of each consultation and stick it to the wall with painter's tape.

Step 5. Stare at it for a while.

Step 6. Figure it out!

Step 7. Read a bunch of random articles to double-check if you make any sense.

Step 8. (Soon) Triple-check your idea with Bibi. @borota.bianca

Step 9. (Tomorrow or Thursday) Write what you want to write.
