When you’re passionate about what you do

The weather is an absolute mess. It’s raining on and off and the air is humid, but it’s not really cold. Typical November (or February) weather. The kind of weather when I just want to become a burrito and read. It’s been like this for the last few days and it will probably continue to be like this for a while.

However, as much as I’d like to drink tea and read, I have a workshop to facilitate today (#ActiveBystanderTraining). I could be annoyed that I have to leave the house, but I am not. I am very excited and I can’t wait for the clock to show 2.30 pm so I can go. When you’re passionate about something, it’s easy to find the energy you need to do it.

The opposite is also true - if you’re not passionate about your work, it’s just going to be a burden. I remember having to do Maths at 8 am…
