When you don’t have a book with you, but…
…you have your earphones and listen to a podcast.
I almost - ALMOST - never leave the house without a book in my bag. Plus, I have eBooks on my phone. Today, however, I wasn’t expecting to travel - no book and my phone wouldn’t have had enough battery for a one-hour read. So, I listened to a podcast called Everything Is Alive. It was actually an episode from 99% Invisible about the other podcast. V recommended it to me and now I’m recommending it further.
Everything is Alive is a series of interviews with inanimate objects. The ‘guest’ on the 99% Invisible episode was a can of soda/pop.
P.S. I really don’t know how to feel about drinking a can of Coca-Cola as I’m writing this.
