Valentine’s Day, Therapy, and Back to Chucks
A few weeks ago my therapist said that a good relationship is a lot like therapy. Spending a lot of time together, you and your partner will unintentionally, but inevitably push each other’s buttons and trigger emotions you never knew you had. In a good relationship, these will be your cues to grow and develop, find solutions, explore, understand.
Now, Valentine’s Day is about love and it is also super important to remember to love yourself! I had my fifth therapy session today - next week will be the last of my six sessions. We’re slowly starting to wrap up any loose ends. I wanted to talk about my reactions to change, especially when it doesn’t affect me. I’m still processing what I learned today and will probably come back with my thoughts on this.
Above all this… I decided it’s TIME TO GO BACK TO CHUCKS! Life is good.
