Unknown books
I bought this book because the spine is so pretty and because the author is Hungarian. It was... * temptation *. It's been waiting on the shelf for at least a year, if not two. A book of 685 pages makes you question if it's a good time to read it.
I started it a few days ago. So far, it's similar to books like "Great Expectations" or "A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man". In the past, perhaps I would've given up on it cause it tends to be quite boring sometimes. Now I know how to skip the boring bits. I'm invested in the story of this poor boy who moved to Budapest, and now dreams of going to America. Let's see what comes next!
