Unexpected exploring

I would say today was quite unusual. Before breakfast, I read a book (a whole book! - okay, it had less than 100 pages) - Who moved my cheese? by Dr Spencer Johnson. It is a story or, rather, a lesson about change, written in a very ‘human’ way and easy to grasp. Maurice recommended it to me yesterday. And since I woke up early I quickly took hold of the eBook and finished it in less than an hour. Very good book - would recommend especially if you’re unsure about your relationship with change and you just want to recap some of the different perspectives.

So, today started with a bit of emotional/psychological exploration.

Then, V and I went out for some shopping, but we wanted to walk a bit more. Every time I go to meetings, my bus passes by the Thames Barrier. I read about it in the Carbon Diaries and I was really curious. I mentioned this to V today and so we decided to go explore that. No regrets. I found my official favourite place in London. I am tempted to take my notebook or laptop to just spend a few hours there and write. Interesting...
