Two Detectives I always wanted to read

As I was saying last week, I have been a big fan of detectives since childhood. As soon as I learned to read, I wanted to start with Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Agatha Christie (and also Jurnes Vernes, but that’s a story for another time). I gave ‘The Hound of Baskervilles’ a try, but of course, it was too complicated for a kid. I started reading Fantasy, and Horror, and Young Adult, and then I went on to some ‘classics’.

But the time is finally here for detectives - I read Sherlock last week and now I’m reading Poirot. It’s interesting because I have a very vivid image of all the main characters from the TV shows I watched with my parents - especially Poirot. Also, it’s the first time I can actually read something after I watched the series/film. Perhaps I reached a new level of maturity as a reader.
