'Twas the week before Christmas

'Twas the week before Christmas, when all through the town

Everyone is busy, and the stores are packed;

But in this household, the trees were decorated with care

And gifts were packed already;

The people could read and relax in the beds or beanbags or sofas;

While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads.

I remembered this poem (originally called ''Twas the night before Christmas') and it felt right for today. I adapted it, and now it's my post. To be fair, I still have to wrap a few presents, but that's no problem. I'll probably get that done tomorrow morning.
