To all my friends who graduate this year,

(Today is high school graduation day in Romania)

Good job, everyone! You finally escaped doing homework and studying for tests that you could not care less about. You might still be doing that occasionally, but hopefully, you’ll be on your way to doing something that you love.

I hope you will find that something that you love. Keep your eyes open at all times. For some, a university might lead you there, but for others, it might be volunteering, travelling, doing nothing for a year or two. From now on, there’s no rush. You’re free to do whatever you want. Try everything. You might fail, but you might succeed as well. You never know.

The BAC (final exams)? Trust me, it’s gonna be okay. I know there’s pressure, but it’s not as bad as it seems. Try to stay calm. If you feel stressed and overwhelmed, get up and go for a walk or have some tea. You won’t fail your exams if you take a two-hour walk or spend half an hour looking out the window, drinking tea.

You’ll be alright! I don’t know if it matters much, but keep in mind that whatever happens, I am here to support you with all my heart.

I wish you the best of luck! Welcome to the next level!
