This was NOT a poetry night

It was an experiment. And a successful one too!

It was the first official DEIS UK Creative Writing event. We wanted this to be something different - so people don't just come listen to others reading some poems. So, we had a little creative workshop, a performance, and an open mic. Because it was a small crowd, I asked people to say one word about how they felt tonight - inspired, excited, motivated... Amazing!

I also got to perform with Petra two of her poems which was fun! ❤️
