Theatre where I fell in love with it
Baia Mare will forever be the home of theatre for me. This is where I fell in love with it and where I discovered that theatre can be fun or messed up, youthful, open for everyone, informal, and everything I thought theatre wasn't.
Today I got to experience all that again at Pomona, directed by Andrei Dinu. An amazing adaptation of Alistair McDowall's play. I'm a big fan of dystopias and thrillers, and this play was exactly what I look for in theatre.
And, as always, going to the theatre in Baia Mare was perfect. People of all ages, some dressed fancy, others just casual, observing a story. At the end, the cast was recalled three times - no one wanted to stop clapping.
