The unexpected confession of a bookworm

I do not like to use libraries. I went to my uni library today to borrow some books that I couldn't find online for the other exam. And really, I do not like to use libraries.

I love reading or working in libraries, don't get me wrong. And if the library also has a coffee shop, I'll be drinking coffee surrounded by books (or in close proximity). They're calm and peaceful. But I'd be reading my own book. Folding pages, writing notes inside, hiding flowers, perhaps even adding a tiny coffee stain by mistake.

I do not like to borrow books in general. One of my favourite books (King's 'Pet Sematary') has been borrowed from a friend. It's been years and I still don't have it on my own bookshelf. And even if I did get it now and read it again, it still wouldn't be with the eyes of that adolescent girl who loves horror, reading her first King book after she heard so much about him.

Anyway, I ended up finding everything I came for in "temporary ebook" format thanks to one of the volunteers at the library. All's well that ends well.
