Teen(R)age and back to origins (by Jeanine)

The past few months had it all. Stress, happiness, anxiety, excitement and on top of everything, an Artist Block. Say hello to the Project Manager of Teen(R)age - me.

I never organised an exhibition before and to be fair I really wanted to do it, so when I saw the opportunity I jumped headfirst. Teen(R)age is an exhibition organised by youth for youth and its goal is to offer youth emerging artists a safe platform to showcase their work and why not, get compensated for it (which I can't stress enough how important it is).

Teen(R)age is funded by Arts Council National Lottery Grants. Yes, we got a huge grant and @beakony aka The Grant Master helped us so much with it! (Bea’s note: Awwwww!)

This whole event has been so important to me. After months and months of thinking, rethinking and waiting, here we are now, on Private View day.

Everyone seems to have an amazing time so far and I can't wait for that very specific moment in the event where Bea and I just take a step back and admire everything that's going on! (Bea’s note 2: I can’t wait for it! That’s my favourite moment in every project!)
