Sometimes at work, you play golf*

*This is not really golf, this is called ‘putting’. It’s the most important skill in golf.

If I love something about the work that I am doing with Collab is that it’s never the same. Our meetings, our projects, our conversations - they’re all different. All of these strategies, and writing, and working are fun for me.

Sometimes we also do things that are objectively fun - like playing golf at Young Lewisham Project, while some of their young people and their staff and Maurice were playing FIFA 21 and FIFA 22. Last week, Maurice beat me 5 to 3 at table football and before that he attempted to teach me to play pool. I’m learning something new every week. Thank you, Mauriceeee!

The next step will be me playing FIFA, which is something I never thought I’d do, especially as the General Manager of an organisation. 😅 But hey, after all, the project we were delivering is called Your Journey Through FIFA so I gotta embark on this journey too, right?
