Shoes for the Picture

I’m reading a lot these days. I’m spending all my days inside and I only take my shoes on for the daily picture. After all, these are the adventures of the muddy shoes, not the adventures of the socks.

Now I am reading this book - Răzvrătiții (The Rebels) - written by the Romanian author that made me give Romanian literature a chance 5 years ago. I’ll tell the whole story after I finish the book and I’ll write about it on #BSideBlog. I missed her writing style - simple, honest and always touching on real problems of the society. I’ve kept all her characters in my mind and heart and now, when some of them came together in this novel, I’m wondering what they would say, what they are thinking about everything that is going on in the world right now. It is amazing how she can create characters that are so complex.

I’m very excited to finish the book and write the article about it. And then start another book and the next book and the next book... It’s the perfect time to read all the ‘fat’ books that I’ve been postponing just because I knew they would literally break my back if I carried them around.
