Ready to go! #BridesmaidInProgress

Everything is packed, the house is clean, the bedsheets are fresh, and we are ready to go.

I finished ‘Animal Farm’ yesterday (as expected). It was an excellent book, a very good explanation of how the utopian theories of communism and such can and will become utter dystopias. Following-up from ‘Gramsci’s Common Sense’, I think it’s actually interesting to interpret this book from an anthropological perspective.

My aeroplane read: ‘Before the Feast’ by Saša Stanišić

I bought it last winter - I was with J at the British Heart Foundation and she said “look, it has a fox on the cover!”. I read the blurb and I got it, but it felt like an early autumn read so I left it until now. The time has come!
