Project writing <3

When I say that I enjoy writing, I really mean any writing. I think there is no type of writing that I do not enjoy doing. From prose to blog articles to social media posts to poetry and even funding applications for projects.

So, today I did some writing on a funding form for Collab’s ‘It takes a village’ - a massive youth & community opportunity event that aims to support all Lewisham residents. This is my second time writing for funding here in the UK and my first time writing for a specific project here in the UK. I had some experience writing stuff for the European Solidarity Corps, but that was mostly written in Romanian and the form is so different.

Funding applications are so fun to write for me. I love using ‘big words’ to talk about aim & objectives, benefits, outcomes, to describe activities and so on. I also love to keep things balanced and short so I work a lot with keywords and bullet points. It’s always a bit of a challenge to get everything right, but I love challenges.
