Preparing for the coolest journey!

Right now I finished reading ‘The Design Thinking Playbook’ by Michael Lewrick, Patrick Link, and Larry Leifer. I read all sorts of books about all sorts of topics. Sometimes I read to learn, sometimes to research, and other times just for leisure. I read this (play)book to learn and prepare.

What am I preparing for? Well… I’ll be co-facilitating something with Bibi. Where? Well… in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. This will be the second learning activity in the YOUVOL21 project, focusing on the IDEATE step of the Design Thinking Process. And since my confidence comes from learning, I decided to spend this weekend doing just that. I can’t wait to meet with Bibi and András to talk about the overall plan.

This is definitely one of the biggest opportunities (and challenges) in my professional life so far. I’m excited, but also a little anxious. Not too anxious, especially after a short but useful discussion with Bibi as the youth worker.
