Once again reading at the airport

Airports are very interesting liminal spaces. You're nowhere, really and there's no going back. You're there and you're going somewhere. Airports and planes are also some of my favourites places to read.

I read about a quarter of this book on my way here and then a few more pages one morning, at the youth centre. Honestly, I missed a little time alone with a book with nothing else to worry about.

So far, I'm not disappointed by "The Testaments". I like Margaret Atwood's style generally and I enjoy the multiple perspectives. It's definitely different from "A Handmaid's Tale" so it's understandable that people who were expecting a continuation of that were unhappy. I particularly enjoy seeing other sides of Gilead and what happens beyond it entirely. Let's continue the reading!
