Oh, by the way! While in Bath…

…I received a ring from V and V also received a ring from me. So now we’re Couple+.

Our conversation about this next step started while we were walking through Canterbury. That’s when we decided that the proposal won’t be just one way - we both like rings, so why wouldn’t we both get one. Rings were purchased in secret, ‘smuggled’ into the country, and then hidden in J’s room. Until this little holiday.

I was the first to ‘crack’ and offered V the ring in our hotel room while we were drinking a coffee/decaf coffee. He was the more romantic one. After a long day of walking around the magical Bath, we stopped at the Pulteney Bridge Coffee Shop for a slice of cake (best chocolate cheesecake I’ve ever had!) and to admire the view and… my new ring.
