No flu for me, thank you very much!


For years, every year I’d have a mild cold in late August/early September (done already) and then I’d catch the flu proper in October-November. Every year it was a nightmare. But then I came to the UK where it’s so easy to get a flu shot - you just book an appointment online at your local Tesco, ASDA, Superdrug, Boots and many others.


Now I’m having a little coffee and continuing my MA reading material. In about an hour, I’ll head towards Goldsmiths. By the time I finish today at 6 pm, I’ll probably start to feel a bit drowsy.

Just in time to go home and get in bed.

This + a sore arm for a day is a small price for a flu-less winter.
