My name & stories are in here!

Here is the Greenwich Anthology 2022. This pink book contains not one, but TWO of my short stories. They are there, in print, my name is there, in print, in black and white. My first honorarium is 5 copies of the anthology.

The two stories are ‘Truth or Dare’ and ‘Table for Two’. ‘Truth or Dare’ is a second-person narrative about a rock chick that goes to a sleepover party at the most popular girl’s house. The girls play Truth or Dare and fueled by some vodka, Beth picks dare so she must text her crush. 😲 Spoiler: this is a very wholesome story with a very nice ending. ‘Table for Two’, however, is dark. It’s a Chekhovian story about a woman whose husband is away. On a rainy late-November afternoon, as she returns home with her shopping, an unknown man assaults her. Will she call the police? Will she tell her husband? I don’t know.

This was the package that I received yesterday. I am a super happy writer and I honestly can’t wait for more opportunities like this. I’m working on my novel and fingers crossed, the next book with my name in it will have it on the cover. Until then, I’m thinking that I should send some of my short stories here and there, wherever I find something.
