Me & my novel

I missed my Arkon 1! I’ve had to make a couple of edits before my final tutorial, so I opened the document again after a couple of weeks of focusing on something completely different.

In my edition of ‘Pet Sematary’, Stephen King discusses how he always takes some time to get away from his books. He does that after they're ready, but the idea of it is the same - leave your book for a while and when you’ll open it, it’s gonna be a completely new experience.

I think that writing on and off will be a key thing for me especially because I wasn’t really able to map out every step in the plot. I know my major moments, but how things go from A to B is a complete surprise for me. Taking breaks also helps me be aware if I’m dragging on with something (although I feel that while writing too). Initially, the next ‘phase’ of this novel wasn’t supposed to happen until February 2039, but it’s actually going to happen in mid-January 2039. If this makes no sense now, keep in mind that I want to publish this novel so you’ll have a chance to find out at some point!
