Mary’s Diary, Exile, Day 6

It appears that the writer/youth worker human is a scholar. Her surname of Hungarian origin has the same meaning.

After finalising the small book that I presented to you yesterday, the human picked up this James Joyce book called ‘Stephen Hero’. Although I am quite well-read I never heard about this one in particular. My understanding is that this text is a very early draft of the more popular novel ‘A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man’.

However, I am quite disturbed by some of the practices of this human. She uses a crayon* to make notes inside the book. Monstrous!
