Long time, no shoes

It’s been some time since the Adventures of the Muddy Shoes last featured Muddy Shoes and my experiences were written in my own voice. Since then I had my Covid booster, my second HPV vaccine, read a few books, worked on my novel, and wrote an essay. I also changed my desk setup as you can see.

It was really fun to have Mary write her Exile Diary here. I find cats to be very interesting animals. I feel like they’re the intellectuals of the animal kingdom, with a hivemind-like system of knowledge. How else do you explain that cats learn to use the litter box so easily? However, dogs are still my Number One - they’re simple, excited, and loving. They can’t help you write an essay, but they offer emotional support, they don’t judge you, and they encourage you to be active.

Also, I must warn you - January will be a very interesting month. You’ll see my shoes today and tomorrow, and then another furry guest will take over for a few days. And after that and a couple more normal days, comes a week of interesting shoes when my and V’s parents come to visit. Must follow!
