Let's read this

I found Nabokov's "Lolita" on the street, in the rain. It has notes from the previous reader - unknown words are underlined and interesting phrases are circled. I don't know why someone would throw a book out like this, but I digress.

I'm not very far into the book, but I have a key observation to make. The book starts with a fictional "foreword" in which the fictional editor (the author's insert, I would venture to say) clearly states that the book does not glorify the protagonist's actions and outlines what's to come. A perfect trigger warning. Before it was cool. So far, 10/10.
