In a rush all day

The cool thing about my (youth) work is that there is always something interesting to do. However, that means that life can get very busy and really draining sometimes. Right now, it’s a busy and tiresome period with uni, DEIS UK projects, and other responsibilities. I’m jumping from one task to the next and I can already feel my batteries running low even though I ‘recharged’ yesterday.

I’m not complaining, though. I love it.

Do you want to know a little trick that I’ve been using lately to cope with the rush? Taking time to arrive. The Yoga classes usually start with that - we are all just sitting and allowing ourselves to slow down and settle. I try to do it at the end of a busy day. Today, I’ll probably start arriving into myself as I walk to Artfix and then I’ll finally catch up during Yoga. It’s so good to take things slow sometimes!
