Here we go again… on a tight budget

Music in the Streets? Does it ring a bell? We’re doing it again this year, albeit on a very tight budget. It shall happen at the end of August, most likely on the 25th - Thursday, before the Bank Holiday.

This year we were hoping for a proper project with all finances sorted out. Arts Council England had different plans, so our application was unsuccessful, although I have to say that their feedback was really encouraging. Thankfully, the awesome András Farkas helped us secure some capital, enough to get this project through and match-fund something else (more info another time). THANK YOU, András!

We’ve made some changes to the usual MitS. 1. We will pay our performers because we want this to be a fair opportunity for young artists - now and forever - and 2. We’ll leave the workshops out of the equation just this time because of the cost. Make sure you keep an eye out on DEIS UK for the official details!
