Green Goblin is on the rampage!
This story was written on the 17th of December at artFix after a really fun eco-art workshop hosted by Nan and Van. I was never a crafty person, but when I sat down at that table with a blank vinyl in front of me, I felt like I had to do something. I found a cutout that said ‘Green Goblin is on the rampage!’. There was a story to be told there. I had no idea where it was going, but then I found another cutout that worked, and another, and another. There’s a whole story about the Green Goblin now.
The Green Goblin woke up early that day. It wasn't unusual for him to do that per se, but on that day he woke up with a headache. He opened his phone and started looking at his emails, as always. There was a newsletter from his little village advertising The Moat Village Show that still had games and prizes for the best Goblin's cakes. There was something else in the newsletter - a little note with a study about how many other Goblins in the village were doing horses' work for donkeys' pay. That was unacceptable! The Green Goblin saw...green in front of his eyes and green means go.
Now Green Goblin is on the rampage! He destroyed the best plant pots in town. The men in the nearby town thought that a ghost has taken over. It was disastrous! The earth was quaking. Unbelievable!
Only one little Goblin girl was courageous enough to approach the Green Goblin. She gave him a little brochure - a pamphlet. "What to do if you need help". On page 7 there was some safety advice that the Green Goblin read carefully. He instantly calmed down and went home. Maybe he'll bake a cake and go to The Moat Village Show tomorrow. If he's lucky enough, he'll win a prize!
