Gary the Gargoyle & ‘The Book of Scary Urban Legends’

A lot has happened today. All great and extra great news, but I will tell you about each and every one of them when I have more details about everything. Until then, Gary the Gargoyle has been reading a new chapter of ‘The Book of Scary Urban Legends’.

* If a body meets a body *

It was a very varied chapter. From stories about grandmas baking with someone’s ashes by mistake to creepy pranks involving severed hands. Possibly the most macabre, according to Mr Gary, was the one about ‘the creepy passenger’. A young woman is travelling on the train late at night. The only other passengers are a group of three young men - the one in the middle seems to be sleeping - and one creepy older man reading a newspaper. The old man approaches the woman and shows her his newspaper. There is a note inside. The note reads: GET OFF AT THE NEXT STOP. THE MAN IN THE MIDDLE IS DEAD.

What Mr Gary appreciated most was how the creepy old man wasn’t the bad guy in this story. Looks can be deceiving.
