First delivery of books for Year 3

As you should all know by now, I am a Bookworm (or a Library Mouse if you translate the term literally from Romanian). And I am also studying English Literature and Creative writing, which is a really good excuse to buy books. Too bad I’m going into my 3rd and final year…

A bit more than a week ago we got our reading lists and I was quick to order. The first delivery arrived today. I don’t know much about them yet, except for the Content Warnings provided on the list. But the covers, oh! the covers. They look so pretty and interesting.

• No, I don’t believe in ‘Don’t judge a book by its cover’. Covers are designed for a purpose. They’re works of art. It’s like saying don’t judge a painting by… what’s pictured on it. Have some respect for book covers, please.

I got 7/13 books today. I can’t wait for the rest. And then I’ll also get a few on my eReader. And I already have James Joyce’s ‘Ulysses’. BUT before I start reading these books, I still have some Romanian Literature books to read for my little project. Of course, if you follow me, I’ll keep you updated.
