Did you not miss my random books and muddy shoes on the bus?

January is a long month. Too long. It should’ve given a couple of days to February. January was also a long month because it was so hectic and busy: cat, essay, dog, exam, uni, parents, work. Now we’re going back to normal. Shoes, life updates, books. The usual. I missed this.

Here’s the book I am reading on the bus at the moment. If you want to read something chill, this is NOT it. Nor is it something to read on the bus, but whatever. I also read a fantasy novel (you can see a little bit of its cover in yesterday’s pic). That's not too chill either, but I will talk about it some other time.

Rebbecca Ray published ‘A Certain Age’ aka ‘Pure’ when she was 18 so it’s a #dissertation text. According to the blurb, ‘it’s what your children never tell you, and what you’re too scared to remember’. It’s about being 14 and a girl. And that is messed up. But it is so true and I love that.
