Connected from afar

If this pandemic did something good, that’s connecting people through the online world. What started as a safety measure, is now helping me connect with my beloved town from afar and get involved in consultations for #play2023 Baia Mare - European Youth Capital.

The digital world is not perfect yet and it comes with a few communication barriers - there were moments when I could barely hear what people were saying, for example. But it just takes some time for all of us to get used to this and tame technology.

We are living in a world where young people travel for leisure, studies, work or volunteering. Just because we are not at ‘home’ it doesn’t mean we don’t want to help our ‘home’. Digitalisation helps us help home.
