Charity-Shop(ping)

It’s really cool when you start getting to know the areas around the area where you live. That is the moment when you go from ‘new comer’ to ‘resident’. And this comes with a feeling of homeliness which is, in my opinion, the most important thing when you leave your hometown (and country) to start your life somewhere else.

Today Jeanine and I went all the way to Blackheath and then to Catford (Lewisham) for some charity shopping. We identified a few awesome shops when we went there in September 2020 and now that London is slowly opening up again we decided to take a look. I have to be honest, it wasn’t the most successful shopping session, but it was still fun and relaxing.

Now it’s time for me to get back to work and exam preparation. I still have a couple of articles to read for the Drama part. It’s annoyingly hard to find all the articles I want to read on Bertolt Brecht or debbie tucker green, but I’m getting there slowly.
