I am catching my breath before going into a couple of meetings. I worked... all day today. A bit of this, a bit of that, a break to eat, and then some more work.
Lately, I've been allowing myself to reflect and check in with my feelings as often as possible. I believe I've always been a reflective person, hence my overthinking skill, but I was trying to make myself rationalise more.
Anyway...
I ask myself often if I'm feeling tired or frustrated by the work that I'm doing. Sometimes the answer is yes, and that's alright - I take those tasks with care and patience. However, most times the answer is no. I'm feeling satisfied with my roles and responsibilities, I feel that the work I do is meaningful and I can see the progress. This is so important!
What do you feel about the things you do every day? How do you feel about the future? I know, it can be hard to ask yourself these things, but maybe when you take a break you can allow yourself to explore them.
