Bea learns to stop for 10 minutes

Just for you to understand what my opinion about meditation/quiet time was until recently - on my smartwatch, I keep a random app with loyalty cards that doesn't even work, but I uninstalled the pre-installed mindfulness app. Who needs mindfulness when everything is perfectly happy? Right? Nope.

My "homework" after today's therapy session (and beyond) is to take 10 minutes to myself and stop. Quiet time. Just exist for 10 minutes. And try to do that every day. Yoga taught me the basics of this - every practice ends with a few minutes of laying down on the mattress in ‘Shavasana’ (corpse pose) and taking it all in. Now I should try to do that without an excuse, just for myself.

Well, I reinstalled the mindfulness app on my smartwatch. I know I need the reminders and the keeping track until it becomes a routine. It's like getting used to drinking water.
