BACK TO MY NOVEL!

My writing process is weird… As much as I’d like to follow King’s advice and just write, I end up postponing my writing sessions and then I just wait for The Muse to hit me on the head. I don’t like this and I really, really need to work on changing this. Until then, I just have to deal with myself.

Today I got another 2142 words into my novel. A third of a chapter. Two more days like this, and I’ll finish another chapter. I like the fact that I’m still connected with my characters. Every time I want to come back to them, I’m so anxious that I will have forgotten their little quirks and nuances. But then, I read through a few scenes, and it’s as if I never left their universe.

I’m really curious when I will finish this ‘project’. Also, I’m curious how my next book will go. And what it might be about. Although, I’m trying hard not to think about the next one when the first one isn’t even halfway done.
