Audiobook and cooking
When I'm home alone, I love throwing a little party for myself while I cook and clean the kitchen. However, I don't always have the energy for that. Especially on a rainy gloomy Monday. So, sometimes, I'd just cook in silence, allowing my mind to have pointless conversations with itself. But that's not always a good idea for a professional overthinker like myself. So, today I tried to listen to an audiobook and it was exactly what I needed.
I've started "What my bones know" by Stephanie Foo. It's her memoir, focused on her complex PTSD story. She talks about herself, but also about the bigger picture - mental health, diagnoses, America, intersectionality etc etc. I like it when people share their experiences so other can learn from them.
I found this book on a random TikTok or Reel about good audiobooks. This one is read by the author herself. The library didn't have it yet, so I just saved it on Libby if and when it becomes available. Then the library acquired it, so I borrowed it. It was a great choice.
