Another Saturday at the British Library

I am trying to have set times to do things and I chose Saturdays as my ‘dissertation days’ for now. The British Library has a certain solemnity to it and it makes me aware of the importance of my work, so I want to spend as much time writing there.

Today I drafted the first assessment for the dissertation - a skill assessment, a 500-word plan, and an indicative bibliography - and my request form for the ethics department at uni to get approval to interview people. I also put my questions together for the interviews (I have to attach them to the form). Then, I continued my research for a bit.

This project is taking me out of my comfort zone and so I have to learn and adapt - I have to research in a different way, I have to read in a different way, I need to write in a different way. But I hope that the end result will be as impactful as I want it to be.
