Adventures of the Muddy Shoes No. 100

Today I posted the 100th Adventure of the Muddy Shoes.

Every day for 100 days I found something to write about.

When I realized that this moment is coming closer, I started thinking about the process of writing every day. I discovered that this practice is actually called JOURNALING and it is known to have many positive effects on your mental health. You can Google it for more details.

For me, Adventures of the Muddy Shoes is more than just journaling because I can’t just write about all the boring things that happen in my life. I need to pick the highlight of each day or write about some random thought I had. I have to be connected to my surroundings, listen to people and pay attention so I can be inspired by them. I am on a constant lookout for places in which I can take interesting pictures of my shoes.

This process is harder when I spend an entire day inside, totally unproductive. But that is what keeps my creativity running. I have to find a good reason to take a pic and a good thing to write about. I cannot let myself NOT write.

I see myself in a few years, scrolling down on my blog and it will be like a walk down on memory lane and I will look at everything I’ve done. I will see every moment in my development, every great day and every bad day. I have something that will help me remember every day of my life. And that is amazing, given that I am very attached to my memories. This is what keeps me writing each and every day.
