A studious day

First of all, I would like to tell everyone that I started my day with 10 minutes of quiet time. It wasn’t perfect - my brain kept trying to make me think about my To-Dos and I was tempted just rudely to tell it to shut up, but instead, I kindly thanked it for the reminder and went back to focusing on my breathing. Overall, I really enjoyed it and I hope I’ll manage to turn this into a routine.

Other than that, today was mostly about studying/study-related activities. I had a fair lot of reading to do for tomorrow and Friday, but I managed to get everything done. I also started working on my Anthropological Research Methods… research project, which is a fun challenge.

As I said before, in Anthropology you ask questions and WAIT for answers. Myself, on the other hand, I ask questions and do my head in with reading. This time I need to take my information from people first and books second. Luckily, my main storytellers (I’m not going to call them subjects!) for this project will be the young people from DEIS. I talked to them today and I can’t wait to start hearing about their experiences.

Now my body is requesting some fresh air and a walk, my brain is requesting a break, and my heart is requesting some quiet reading time. Write to you tomorrow!
