A beautiful day… to have tonsillitis

So…uhm… I have bacterial tonsillitis. Not the one that you get during a cold. Apparently, that’s viral tonsillitis and goes away on its own (V just had it). Bacterial tonsillitis, however, needs antibiotics.

Yesterday, after an almost sleepless night, I decided to research my sore throat. You learn a lot via the NHS website: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/tonsillitis/. So, after making a few calls and talking to my GP (and a pharmacist and 111), I got antibiotics. And I’m currently treating my tonsils.

Luckily, it’s a beautiful day! The sun is shining and it’s warm. It might hurt to swallow, but at least I could read outside.
