6.‘The Burglar’s Christmas’ by Willa Cather

A rainy Monday. Yesterday we went for a Festive evening walk through Maryon Park at Sparkle in the Park.

My overthinking self has been trying to find issues where there are none for the last few days. For me, this means I should read (and I will read) until my brain calms down. That’s probably why I have two stories for you today - one from the collection, and one written by me.

There is one thing I really liked about this - it tells the story of a hungry young man who decides to steal some food for himself. It’s somewhat similar to the short series I wrote last year, illustrated by @rawzzsart. Read the full story here.

Stories like these are proof that people are not inherently bad. On the contrary, we are all good, but circumstances affect our decisions sometimes. It’s sad, in a way, but wholesome in many more.
