28% left of the audiobook (and probably Lolita)

I'm currently experiencing my usual...

going away soon but my reading won't sync

now with the added problem of...

I have to finish the audiobook before I go because I won't have time to listen while I'm away and I cannot extend my loan because SIX other people are waiting.

Vent over. I'm taking a walk soon to probably finish the audiobook. Then if I need to listen to something in the next couple of days I can just go for a podcast or some music. Tomorrow I'm also planning to just sit and read so I'll finish "Lolita" as well.

Both "I Who Have Never Known Men" and "Lolita" are very disturbing books. But I absolutely love their styles. There is so much to unpack. They're simply fascinating. For different reasons, of course, but still.

I might try to pick something lighter for the plane read, however. We'll see.
