20 minutes of Yoga after a full day and finishing an audiobook
I've been on the go all day today. Working on multiple bits throughout the day, but also going from one place to another. Because I didn't have to do any task that required my full focus, I decided to listen to the audiobook I had borrowed on Libby - "The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo" by Taylor Jenkins Reid. There was about 50% left of it this morning and I've now finished it.
How did I choose this book? I saw a reel about... someone seeing someone else read the book and being shocked about a certain part. It made me curious and the audiobook was available to borrow right away. Knowing that this was a #booktok and #bookstagram read, I was skeptical at first - these books can be hit or miss (I will probably write a longer piece on that at some point). However, this book did not disappoint. It was very well written and the story had the right plot-twists - some were expected, others were not. Overall, the story was interesting and the characters were well contoured. It didn't require a lot of mental effort to follow, which is why it was perfect for keeping me company while working today.
I finished it right as I got home. I cooked and listened to some music, then I did the daily November Yoga. I did all of these things instinctively, I listened to myself and I'm feeling pretty well at the end of this full day. Without all that, I might've been drained.
